Send SMS to anyone using fake number or name…
It’s somewhat similar to SMS Extender by Simeda which I had been using until the company went MIA. This app is a freeware and utilizes Clickatell SMS Gateway to sent text msgs. It’s actually meant to be a more economical way (in some countries) of sending SMS worldwide, but since most SMS Gateway allow alphanumeric value in the sender’s detail, pranksters can have the opportunity to fake the sender’s details.

Works on Nokia Series 60. For other JAVA phones pls d/load SendSMS instead.
SMS program that uses Clickatell (SMS Gateway) to send SMS text messages.
Low cost messaging. Deal direct with the gateway. Messages from Euro0.04/USD0.05/£0.03. Location independent - great for avoiding high costs when roaming abroad.
Very very low GSM/GPRS data usage, of the order of hundreds of bytes, makes data costs negligible.
Send ordinary messages or flash messages (may use more credit). Flash messages show instantaneously on most (received) makes of phone - but not on P800/P900!
Send messages as if from your own number, another number or even set it to a textual value to send special or anonymous messages (note: alphanumeric value may not be supported by some mobile operators).

‘Balance’ facility retrieves your Clickatell credit balance.
Clickatell login settings and your default ‘From’ number are automatically saved.
Clickatell provide extensive reporting showing where they were sent to, when messages were sent and delivered and the cost.
Remembers your Clickatell settings.
Fetches phone numbers from the PhoneBook (ClickSMS for N Series 60 only, this feature is not available in SendSMS for JAVA)

OK. Step by step instruction:
1. Goto http://www.clickatell.com/central/login.php?prod_id=2
2. In “Personal Information” form, enter your details, the most IMPORTANT being your mobile phone number (in full international format without the “+” sign) which later an activation code will be sent. Click “Next”.
3. In “Business Info” form, click “Personal Use Only”. Select Country. Click “Next”.
4. In “Other Info”, select email type, click “Yes” to accept it’s terms and cond, and click “Register Now”.
5. This will bring a new page “HTTP API”. Just give it any name (eg. Clickatell HTTP API), forget the rest and click “Submit”.
6. Finally you will get the page with “HTTP Authentication Details”. Note your “api_id”, “username” and “password”. These details are needed in your ClickSMS app in your phone. Don’t forget to “activate your account” link at the top (the same page). By activating your account you will get 10 free credits that you can use to send the SMS. After you’ve finished using up all your credits, it’s time to purchase more credits by selecting>Billing>Purchase. Minimum purchase is for 200 Credits (about USD10).
